Preacher Doc's Sermon/Lesson this GODsday, presents JESUS The CHRIST transforming
water into wine! When reviewing JESUS' adult, public, continuous Ministry,
most scholars consider this miracle to be CHRIST's first (major) miracle.
Skeptics, say that Jesus performed a 'magic act.' (!?)
He 'magically did something' to the water.
Well, I was not there. And neither were any of you that may be skeptical.
Therefore, what can we do? In my Opinion, "John, Chapter 2, Verses 1-11" is sufficiently corroborated to
be authentic. We begin:
" There was a marriage in Cana of Galilee; and the Mother of Jesus was there.
Also invited was Jesus and His disciples.
And during the marriage feast, the Mother of Jesus said to Him.
"They have no more wine to continue serving all the guests."
Jesus' words of reply,
Woman, what have I to do with thee ? My hour is not yet come."
His Mother, talking to the servants said, "Whatsoever He saith unto you, do
it." At the feast were six clay water jars.
Jesus saith unto them, " Fill the water jars with water."
And they filled them to the brim. He then commanded,
" Draw out now, and bear unto the governor of the feast."
And they brought the drink to the governor of the feast.
When the governor of the feast had tasted the water, that was made wine,
and knew not whence it was; (but the servants which drew the water knew;)
the governor of the feast called the bridegroom.
And said to him, "Every man at the beginning doth set forth good wine.
And when men have well drunk, than that which is worse: but thou has kept
the good wine until now."
This beginning of miracles did Jesus, in Cana of Galilee, and His Disciples
Believed in Him."
And there Readers is THE key challenge! "Believing in Him, Jesus The CHRIST !"
Every day, everyone has to face challenges.
Within the spectrum of challenges is Man's self evaluation;
specifically concerning his social obligations and his vocationally duties.
What about his Spirituality? Should Man Believe in a Divine Creator?
And if yes, per what Faith?
There is a spectrum of philosophical opinions concerning those questions.
This Preacher's Opinion is: If you can demonstrate that your Faith &/or Theological Opinion is better
than mine, I will convert to your Faith &/or Theological Opinion!
Until then, I suggest you seriously consider mine!
The Soul you Save will be YOUR OWN!
For "Pure Christianity" is just what the name implies! The purest/clearest
comprehension of CHRIST's Divine Miracles. And JESUS performed at least
37 Divine Miracles!
In this miracle of: "JESUS The CHRIST Changes Water Into Wine.",
please note that CHRIST said:
"FILL the water jars with WATER."
"And they were filled TO THE BRIM." (My emphasis.)
Thus, NOTHING was added to the water.
Scientifically, this transformation of water into wine, is IMPOSSIBLE.
ONLY per DIVINE Power can such an immediate transformation occur!
Skeptics, fiercely holding onto their limited, narrow minded opinion, refuse
to Believe. They 'magically' put forth, that from NOTHING came a material
World. (!?) They refuse to accept GOD as their "Father Creator".
That forces this Preacher to bluntly recite, what their non-beliving
mentality is comparable to; namely the proverb:
"You can lead a jackass (who evolutionists claim is their father) to water
(especially the "Spiritual Waters" of Faith). But you can't force it to
drink."
Theologically speaking, I toast a drink to those who comprehend, realize and
Believe, JESUS was and IS, The CHRIST.
And really transformed water into wine!
