Jesus CHRIST Commands His Disciples to become His Apostles and Preach the Truth of GOD's and CHRIST's Divinity, to all! 9 = "Granting a Man Sight and Speech!" Just to grant a Man sight is a POWERFUL Miracle! 8 = "Granting Sight to Two Blind Men!' The TREMENDOUS Divine Miracle by GOD and Jesus CHRIST, where on COMMAND, Jesus CHRIST Granted sight, instantaneously, simultaneously to TWO Men! Cannot deny such a POWERFUL PROOF ! 7 = "Granting Sight to a Man Born Blind!" The TREMENDOUS Divine Miracle of Jesus CHRIST, CREATING sight for a Man born blind! And the great courtroom argument (defense) of the Man vs. the leaders of the 'old law' who tried to use their authority to deny Jesus CHRIST's POWERFUL PROOF that He IS THE SON OF GOD! 6 = "Restoring a Man's Withered Hand!" But these mistakes of the intellect in no way interfered with the believer's great progress in growth in spirit. To my surprise, not listed was "The RESURRECTION"! Especially considering that all or most of these Theologians are of the opinion that Jesus 'is God, in the flesh, on earth'. May I suggest please, that Jesus was born, an infant; possessing a natural body from a woman who gave natural birth. Was Joseph the Father? I am of the Belief that GOD could and DID create Jesus per the Doctrine and Belief of "The IMMACULATE CONCEPTION !" (Unless, real PROOF can show otherwise.) Therefore, in this Preacher's humble opinion, Jesus was and IS, "The Son of GOD !" And that is what Jesus Preached. While Jesus conducted His Ministry, He Performed, MANY, Divine Miracles. I have put forward at least the forty "major" Miracles! (Recorded by the Apostles, who, with THOUSANDS more, did EYEWITNESS said Miracles.) In my opinion, One, has to do some deep thinking regarding all or most of the Miracles concerning Jesus CHRIST. Recall that Jesus CHRIST Raised Lazarus! Theologians say, the "Raising of Lazarus" was THE or close to THE Miracle that converted non-believers. That being essentially a Religious Truth, then 'weight' must be given those who say that, 'unless Jesus RESURRECTED', there would not be a Christian Religion. I DO NOT AGREE WITH THAT OPINION. However, Jesus did RESURRECT, and appears the time of year was Spring. Thus, the celebration of Easter Sunday, in Springtime of the year. However, sequentially, "The RESURRECTION" actually follows "Jesus Reattaches Malchus' Ear!" Concerning "The RESURRECTION !" let us read what the Apostle John recorded ('NEW TESTAMENT" chapter 20, verses 1-17.) "Now on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene went to the tomb early, while it was still dark, and saw that the stone had been taken away from the tomb.Then she ran and came to Simon Peter, and another disciple and said to them, "They have taken away the Lord out of the tomb, and we do not know where they have laid Him." Peter therefore went out and the other Disciples, to the tomb. So they ran toward the tomb together. Some of the Disciples outran Peter to the tomb. And they, stooping down and looking into the tomb saw the linen cloths lying there, yet they did not go into the tomb. When Simon Peter arrived, he went into the tomb and saw the linen cloths lying there. And the handkerchief that had been around Jesus head, not lying with the linen cloths, but had been folded, neatly and set in a place by itself. Then the other Disciples also entered the tomb and became Witnesses. At this time, we Disciples were not thinking and remembering Jesus CHRIST's Preaching about "RESURRECTION !" Thus, we Disciples left the tomb and returned to our homes. But Mary stood outside the tomb, weeping, and as she wept she stooped down and looked into the tomb. And she saw two angles in white, one at the head and one at the feet where Jesus had lain. And they said to her, "Woman, why are you weeping?" She said to them, "Because they have taken away my Lord, and I do not know where they have taken Him." This Preacher, humbly suggests that said Miracle PROOF should be included. I restate from the EYEWITNESS Apostles, Matthew and John, what occurred. The mob, with swords and clubs were about to seize Jesus. The Apostle Peter, carrying a 'small sword'; drew it and cut of the right ear of the servant of the high priest. However, Jesus CHRIST reattached the Man's ear ! (Please note:) Jesus CHRIST, reattached Malchus' ear, before the Apostles and the mob of about 200. SERMON: This Preacher, humbly suggests that, "CHRIST Reattaches Malchus' Ear" should be included, for these reasons: 1. It was an actual, Divine Powered Miracle. EYE- WITNESSED by the Apostles and a mob of 200+/-. 2. It is a prime example of the pharisees, scribes, rabbis and Jews; *THAT BEFORE THEIR VERY EYES, JESUS CHRIST, PROVED HIS DIVINITY; however, because of their jealously of Jesus CHRIST and their strict holding of national-religious power, they trumped up charges to kill Jesus. 3. It is the last Divine Miracle, Jesus CHRIST Performed, regarding Healing the Body of Man. (Recall, Jesus CHRIST made the lame walk, the mute talk, the deaf hear, the blind see, etc.!) 4. Fools, who try to discredit this EYE-WITNESSED, Divine Miracle as 'another story' by the Apostles. Must realize that the Man was identified, by name (Malchus) and by status (servant of the high priest). Preacher Doc, who notes: "intelligence is defined as the ability to comprehend." Amazing, how many in the Science field, especially Biologists; who pride themselves (in plain English); "- of being real smart about how Man 'originated' and developed from 'the slime of the earth'-", are "- dumber than all he--; when comprehending True Facts regarding Jesus CHRIST's, Divine Miracle PROOFS !" Here is my poem related to the last Video Sermon and Service. The EYEWITNESS Apostles Mark in recounting CHRIST's History, Recounts of Him traveling through the desert to the city of Bethany! And Jesus saw in the distance a fig tree, and for figs He did care. However, after examining this fig tree, it was bare! In PROOF #33, appears CHRIST 'condemns a tree' (non-participating sinner). In the previous 32 Divine Miracles, He Raised, Healed, etc. a Believing "winner!" Appears the Religious "Lesson" is: "Don't raise a (lying) "false hope" to one in need." Because a True participating Believer extends a sincere hand to the hungry to feed! Preacher Doc, who suggests, recall that CHRIST Preached that Charity is the greatest virtue! "Jesus CHRIST and a barren fig tree" (Divine Miracle PROOF #33) Aug 30, 2009 Sermon and Video Service by Preacher Doc Brothers and Sisters, This GOD's Day/Sunday we are at Divine Miracle #33, "Jesus Curses a Fig Tree," in the sequential Life and Miracles of Jesus CHRIST. Years ago, when my primary vocation was Science, I was critically analyzing each of Jesus CHRIST's Divine Miracles. This Divine Miracle of Jesus cursing a fig tree caused me some concern. If you please, let us refer to the "NEW TESTAMENT" of the Bible. And read what the EYEWITNESS Apostle Mark reports, in Chapter 11, Verses 12 - 14. "And the next day, after They (Jesus and His Disciples) had left Bethany, Jesus felt hungry. And seeing in the distance a fig tree in leaf, Jesus (although tired and hungry from walking in the desert) went to see if He might find anything on it. But when Jesus came up to it, Jesus found nothing but leaves; for it was not the season for figs. Then Jesus spoke (cursed) the fig tree, "May no one ever eat fruit of thee henceforward forever." And His disciples heard. If you please, let us refer to the "NEW TESTAMENT" of the Bible. And read what the EYEWITNESS Apostle Matthew reports in Chapter 21, Verses 18 - 22. "Now in the morning, on His way back to the city, Jesus felt hungry. And seeing a fig tree by the wayside, He came upon it, and found nothing on it but leaves; and He said (cursed) the fig tree, "May no fruit ever come from thee henceforth forever!" And immediately the fig tree withered up. Now Brothers and Sisters, in this 21'st Century. This Preacher, in my Theological opinion, thinks that many are 'brainwashed' by media 'nice-e-nice hype.' That is, to 'win', discussing any topic (especially about Jesus) you say, (Jesus) " - its about love." Jesus CHRIST is not about 'love'. Divine Miracle #33 caused me some concern. Realize, Jesus CHRIST did not show 'love' for that (fig) tree/or Person ----- who does not live up to His expectations/COMMANDS. In my Theological opinion, Jesus CHRIST is about PROOF, that there is a Living, Divine, Father Creator! Who, having Created 'this good Earth.' If you do not BELIEVE (bear good fruit). You will be (quoting Jesus CHRIST referring to the weeds (nonbelievers)) "Bundled and burned." Jesus CHRIST cursed (burned/withered) the (fig) tree/nonbeliever." This Preacher does not read 'nice-e-nice/sugar coating 'love talk' in Divine Miracle #33, "Jesus Curses a Fig Tree." In my opinion, the 'key' sentence is: "And His Disciples heard." MEANING: After this, Jesus CHRIST's #33 Divine Miracle, OBVIOUS, WE DISCIPLES AND EACH PERSON BETTER BELIEVE ! Preacher Doc, who suggests to those nonbelievers who refuse to Believe; "You are taking a hell-of-a-chance!" Brother Dave comments: Some Bible Scholars believe that certain Gospel writers who were familiar with Jeremiah 8:13 thought that Jesus was disappointed with the barren fig tree as a metaphorical parable of Jesus' disappointment with Israel. Others, including myself, believe that Jesus' alleged "cursing of a barren fig tree" is a gross confusion of Jesus' actual words. Here is a version that rings True with me: Jesus' Parable of the Fig Tree "There was a certain man who planted a fig tree in his yard, and when he had many times sought fruit thereon and found none, he called the vinedressers before him and said: 'Here have I come these three seasons looking for fruit on this fig tree and have found none. Cut down this barren tree; why should it encumber the ground?' But the head gardener answered his master: 'Let it alone for one more year so that I may dig around it and put on fertilizer, and then, next year, if it bears no fruit, it shall be cut down.' And when they had thus complied with the laws of fruitfulness, since the tree was living and good, they were rewarded with an abundant yield."
