Feb 13, 2005 Sermon by Preacher Doc Many intellectuals think they are 'above' having a Religious Belief. They foolishly tell themselves they are 'excused' from having to Believe in Jesus CHRIST. They base their 'excuse' on 'their superior intellect'. Such self-excusing, 'smart' (lost) souls, comprise about 1/4 of the US population. This Evangelical, Internet Website has and always will, offer its clearest (thus Purist) PROOF of why, each of us must Believe in the Divinity of Jesus (The CHRIST) and GOD ! Per the next (fifth) Miracle by Jesus CHRIST; the PROOF of CHRIST's Divinity should be obvious. What, in the discipline of Theology, may be of 'hidden' significance is the fact, that as a unit, Jesus addressed His Disciples as "fishermen." However, what did He Command them to be? I quote the EYEWITNESS, LUKE, Chapter 5, Verses 1-10. "Now it came to pass, while the crowds were pressing upon Him to hear the Word of GOD, that Jesus was by Lake Genesareth. And Jesus saw two boats moored by the lake, but the fishermen had left them and were washing their nets. And getting into one of the boats, the one that was Simon's, Jesus asked them to row a little from the land. Then Jesus sat down and began to Teach the crowds, from the boat. And when Jesus ceased speaking, He said to Simon, "Sail out into the deep, and lower your nets for a catch." Simon answered and said to Jesus, "Master, the whole night through we have toiled and have taken nothing; however at Thy word I will lower the net." And when they had done so, they enclosed a great number of fish, and their net was breaking. And they beckoned to their comrades in the other boat to come and help them. And they came and filled both boats, so that they began to sink. Thus, when Simon Peter saw this, he fell down at Jesus' knees, saying, "Depart from me, for I am a sinful Man, O Lord." For Simon and all who were with Simon, were amazed at the catch of fish they had made. And so were also James and John, the Sons of Zebedee, who were partners with Simon. In Miracle #2, Jesus CHRIST Saves a Believer's son! In Miracle #3, sanity to a nonbeliever CHRIST did Give. And in Miracle #4, CHRIST Commands a Believer to Live! Feb 06, 2005 Sermon by Preacher Doc Brothers and Sisters, there is a saying, "Time waits for no Man (or Woman)." I say that, because most Christians think that the Church year begins around Christmass and New Year. ---- Actually, we have, Religiously and successfully (in my opinion) completed two months (1/6) of the (2004 into) 2005 Ecclesiastical Calendar Year! -- Yes! -- There was the preparation to accept Jesus (Advent) in December. Then actually celebrating Christmass! Then the happy celebration of New Years! (The Official beginning of Jesus' Life, Year 1 AD). Followed by Jesus' Youth (recall what He said in the temple: "Did you not know that I must be about my Father's business."). ---- Then, I suggest you notice or realize, that in Jesus' first three Divine Miracles, He: 1. In the year of A.D. 30, He overcomes all of Earth's natural 'laws of science', by "TRANSFORMING Water In to Wine!" Impossible for science to achieve today, some 2,000 years later! 2. Jesus overcomes all of Earth's, natural life (health, death) Per "Curing the Nobleman's Son!" (He Saved one's natural life to PROVE (and obtain) Eternal Life!) 3. (Realize, 1. was natural, physical 'law'/science. Then, 2. was Human health, mortality.) Therefore, what is left, in this GOD's Universe!? That, of most importance! Religious and/or Philosophical thought! Human thinking, what is one's BELIEF and/or 'personality'.---- And in Divine Miracle #3, Jesus PROVES Divine Power over 'wayward thinkers'/nonbelievers; per: (Quoting the EYEWITNESS Apostle, Mark): Jesus said (COMMANDED) "(Demoniac/nonbeliever) Hold thy peace (I Command you to not be an angry nonbeliever) and (affliction) go out of the Man." Those in attendance were amazed at Jesus' (Divine) Power. And they exclaimed, "What new doctrine is this? For with authority (Super-Natural Power) He Commands (CURES !) even the unclean spirits (afflictions)!" Thus, PROOF of Jesus CHRIST's NEW LAW, thus, "The NEW TESTAMENT of Our Lord and Savior, Jesus CHRIST"! (Usually abbreviated and referred to as the "NEW TESTAMENT.") For this GOD's Day/Sunday Sermon, I present: "The Fourth Divine Miracle by Jesus CHRIST !" That being, the Healing of Peter's Mother-in-law! Quoting the EYEWITNESS Apostle, Luke (who was a Physician), Chapter 4, Verses 38-39. "Jesus arose from the synagogue (just had Performed, Divine Miracle #3) and then entered Simon's house. ["Thou art Simon, henceforth I call thee "Simon Peter" (the Rock) for upon this "Rock" I will build my Church."] Now Simon's Mother-in-law was suffering from a great (high, fatal) fever, and they besought Jesus for her. And standing over her, Jesus rebuked the fever! And it left her; and she rose at once." In His second Miracle, He SAVED a boy from death, in time! In this Sunday's third MIRACLE, a demoniac in the synagogue! Shouts in anger and fear, at Jesus' Holy, "NEW LAW" dialogue! That He is sent by the Father, to Earth, to PROVE their "GOAL!" Jesus is "The Way", the "NEW LAW" for Saving your Immortal SOUL! The 'Key' to Salvation is to BELIEVE in JESUS' and GOD's Divine, Saving POWER ! That is how you WILL obtain Salvation, Paradise at GOD's "JUDGMENT HOUR !" Jan 30, 2005 Sermon by Preacher Doc The Good Lord said (NEW TESTAMENT, Matthew, Chapter 5, Verse 20), "For I say to you, that unless your Justice exceeds that of the scribes and pharisees, you shall not enter the Kingdom of Heaven." That is a TREMENDOUSLY, POWERFUL, COMMAND ! Realize what Jesus The CHRIST (Divine Son of GOD !) is COMMANDING ! The Old Law, the "Old Testament," MUST be supplanted by the New Law, the "NEW TESTAMENT !" The Jews, who only preach per the Old Testament, (and some "orthodox", only the first five Old Testament Books !) refuse to accept CHRIST's COMMAND. Therefore, an honest Theologian (especially Preacher) must decide: "Who is right? Was, IS, Jesus The CHRIST, the Son of GOD ?! With Divine Power from GOD ?! Or are the Jews, who only preach per some of the Old Testament, correct; and Jesus was a 'troublemaker'? Yours Truly, backed by at least thirty-seven (37), Divine Miracles is absolutely positive, Jesus, PROVED He was and IS, Jesus The CHRIST, with Divine Power from GOD ! Therefore, we must confidently continue! From the first Divine Miracle, "Transforming Water Into Wine!", to the second Divine Miracle, "Curing a Dying Son of a Royal Official !", to this GOD's Day/Sunday, and the third Divine Miracle, "Curing a Demoniac in the Synagogue". (a Jewish temple from where the scribes and pharisees, ruled over the People) Per the EYEWITNESSES of Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Etc. I quote, of course, from the New Law, the "NEW TESTAMENT." Per the EYEWITNESS Mark, Chapter 1, Verses 23 - 27. "Now in their synagogue, there was a Man with an unclean spirit (affliction of uncontrollable anger). Who cried out at Jesus, saying, "What have we (Jews, especially in the synagogue) to do with thee, Jesus of Nazareth? Hast thou come to destroy us!? I know who Thou art, the Holy One of GOD !" And Jesus rebuked him, saying, "Hold thy peace, and (affliction) unclean spirit go out of the Man." And the unclean spirit, convulsing out of the afflicted Man, did cry out with a loud voice and went out of the Man. And they (Jews in the synagogue) inquired among themselves, saying, "What is this? What new doctrine is this? For with authority He Commands even the unclean spirits (mental, physical afflictions) and they obey Him !" (Jesus The CHRIST, CURES, ON COMMAND !) Jesus, while traveling into Galilee, at another time, Was asked by an official, "Please save that son of mine!" Jesus, after listening to the royal official's sincere grief, CURED the son, on COMMAND, because of the official's Belief! Jan 23, 2005 Sermon by Preacher Doc Please note, that for the past two Sermons/Lessons, Yours Truly has suggested: "Once during everyone's Lifetime, they should read, "The NEW TESTAMENT Of Our Lord And Savior, Jesus CHRIST", usually abbreviated/referred to as the "NEW TESTAMENT." There is a saying in baseball, "Three strikes and you're out!" This being the third time; don't 'strike out!' Look at it "my way!" THE, or definitely one of the, greatest book(s) ever written is the "NEW TESTAMENT." It is amazing, that most 'smart' educators, especially in the science field, who brag about what they "know and have read.", HAVE NEVER READ THE "NEW TESTAMENT." And some flaunt their position in Academia by displaying multiple "Degrees." This forces this Preacher to say, "There are "Degrees", and "DEGREES OF INTELLIGENCE" ! For instance, read about Jesus CHRIST's second Divine Miracle! From the "NEW TESTAMENT", per the EYEWITNESS John, Chapter 4, Verses 46 - 54. "He (Jesus) came again to Cana of Galilee, where He had made the water into wine! And there was a certain royal official, whose son was lying sick at Capharnaum. When he heard that Jesus had come from Judea into Galilee, he went to Jesus and besought Jesus to come down and heal his son, for he was at the point of death. Jesus therefore said to him, "Unless you see Signs and Wonders, you do not Believe." The royal official said to Jesus, "Sir, come down before my child dies." Jesus said to him, "Go thy way, thy son lives." The Man Believed the Word (Divine Power) that Jesus CHRIST Commanded, and departed. But even as he was now going down, his servants met him and brought word saying that his son lived. The official asked of his servants, at what hour his son had regained his health? The servants said, "Yesterday, at the seventh hour, the fever left him." The Father knew, that it was at that very hour, in which Jesus (The CHRIST) had Commanded, "Thy son lives." Now the official became a Believer (in the Divinity of Jesus CHRIST), and also all in his household. This was a second Sign (Divine Miracle) that Jesus worked." To Jesus' Birth, ("MERRY CHRISTMASS !") to being officially named, "Jesus". (Jan. 1, Year 1 AD, "HAPPY NEW YEAR !") Then, Jesus, when a Youth, answered questions among religious leaders in the Temple ! Now Jesus begins His adult Ministry and Miracles! Described per the EYEWITNESS, John, Chapter 2, Verses 1-11. "And on the third day a marriage took place at Cana of Galilee, and the (earthly) Mother of Jesus was there. Now Jesus too was invited to the marriage, and also His disciples. And the wine having run short, the Mother of Jesus said to Him, "They have no wine." And Jesus said to her, "What wouldst thou have me do woman? My hour has not yet come." His Mother said to the attendants, "Do whatever He tells you." Now six stone water-jars were placed there, after the Jewish manner of purification, each holding two or three measures. Jesus said to them, "Fill the jars with water." And they filled them to the brim. "Draw out now, and take to the chief steward." And they took it to him. Now when the chief steward had tasted the water after it became wine, not knowing whence it was (though the attendants who had drawn the water knew), the chief steward called the bridegroom, and said to him, "Every man at first sets forth the good wine, and when they have drunk freely, then that which is poorer. But thou hast kept the good wine until now." This first of His signs (Miracles) Jesus worked at Cana of Galilee; and He manifested His Glory (Divinity) and His disciples believed in Him." Recall our preparation for accepting the Birth of Jesus! And our great joy, of Celebrating Jesus' birth at Christmass! And the beginning of the official Life of Jesus, "Happy New Year!" Now we progress to Jesus' Life during His youth. Officially described by Luke, Chapter 2, Verses 41 - 52. "And His Parents were wont to go every year to Jerusalem at the feast of the Passover. And when He was twelve years old, they went up to Jerusalem according to the custom of the feast. And after they had fulfilled the days, when they were returning, the boy Jesus remained in Jerusalem, and the Parents did not know it. But thinking that He was in the caravan, they had come a day's journey before it occurred to them to look for Him among their relatives and acquaintances. And not finding Him, they returned to Jerusalem in search of Him. And it came to pass after three days, that they found Him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the teachers, listening to them and asking them questions. And all who were listening to Him were amazed at His understanding and His answers. And when they saw Him, they were astonished. And His Mother said to Him, "Son, why hast thou done this to us? Behold, in sorrow thy Father and I have been seeking Thee." And he said to them, "How is it that you sought Me? Did you not know that I must be about my Father's business?" And they did not understand the word that He spoke to them. And He went down with them and came to Nazareth, and was subject to them; and His Mother kept all these things carefully in her heart. This is a RELIGIOUS date, and also in History, of anno Domini (AD) Jan. 1, (Year) 1. For about 1,960 years, the World calendar began with the Christian calendar, up to 1960 AD. However, the United Nations, and many of the World Nations, objected to being forced to accept CHRIST as their Savior. They agreed to continue with the Christian calendar; but it would be designated only as 1960 CE (Common Era). This 'sugar coats' the RELIGIOUS meaning, significance of "Happy New Year!" I refer to the "NEW TESTAMENT Of Our Lord and Savior, Jesus CHRIST", usually just abbreviated and referred to as the "NEW TESTAMENT." Per the Apostle Luke, C. 2, V. 21. Dec 31, 2004 - Jan 01, 2005 Message by Preacher Doc There is a saying, that refers to Theologians. "Practice what you Preach." That certainly applies to a Preacher who suggests, "Repent, and follow the 'narrow' (Religious/good) path." Therefore, my 'top three' Resolutions for 2005, and then I suggest yours. Mine 1. Continue my time, money & demanding duties as the Preacher of the Clearest, (thus) Purest presentation of CHRIST's 37 Divine Miracles. 2. Continue my time, money & demanding duties in the Pure CHRISTian, International, Evangelical Website. (Ugh, most of the time with "My aching back.") 3. Health!
